Israeli Strikes Result in Casualties in Lebanon

Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the deaths of at least 10 individuals in eastern Lebanon, according to Lebanese officials. Among those killed were eight members of Hezbollah, a group that Israel frequently targets in its military operations. These strikes are among the deadliest since a ceasefire was agreed upon in November 2024, although Israel argues the attacks are defensive actions against Hezbollah's infrastructure. The Israeli military stated the targets included command centers used by Hezbollah in contravention of ceasefire agreements. Separately, a strike on a Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon was attributed to targeting activities by Hamas.
