Last Group of Striking N.Y.C. Nurses Reach Tentative Deal With Hospital

Nurses at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia hospital have tentatively agreed on a deal after a nearly six-week strike. The agreement needs to be ratified by rank-and-file members to officially end the strike that involved around 4,000 nurses. The previous strikes by more than 10,000 nurses at other hospitals in New York had also reached deals and resumed work last week.
